    The Natural History Museum is one of Finland’s most popular museums, located in the heart of Helsinki.

    The exhibitions span four floors in a magnificent building. Our five permanent exhibitions are Finnish Nature, History of Life, Wildlife of the World, Change in the Air, and Story of Bones. In addition, the museum has temporary exhibitions.

    Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden

    The Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden is an oasis in the centre of Helsinki. The outdoor garden and greenhouses offer unique plant experiences all year round.

    There are ten greenhouses in total, where you can explore plants from deserts to humid rainforests. The greenhouses are surrounded by a free outdoor garden of about five hectares.

    Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden

    Kumpula Botanic Garden

    The Kumpula Botanic Garden is divided into two areas: the geobotanical garden and a garden of cultivated plants. In the geobotanical garden, you can stroll from Europe to the Rocky Mountains of North America and as far as the exotic Far East.

    The garden also has a café, which follows the garden’s opening hours.

    The Kumpula Botanic Garden is open during the summer season.
